简介:ToimprovethewatertreeresistanceofPE,linearlow-densitypolyethylene(LLDPE)wascompoundedwithsodiumacrylate(NaAA)forinsitupolymerization,inwhichNaAAwasformedthroughtheneutralizationofacrylicacid(AA)withsodiumhydroxide(NaOH)beforeaddingdicumylperoxide(DCP)toinitiatetheinsitugraftpolymerizationandhomopolymerization.AseriesofLLDPE/NaAAcompoundswereinvestigatedfortheirwaterabsorptionratio(WAR)measurement,watertreeing,mechanicalanddielectricproperties.TheresultsstronglysuggestthatNaAAcanimprovethewatertreeresistanceofLLDPE.Inaddition,theLLDPE/NaAAcompoundspossesssatisfactorymechanicalpropertiesanddielectricproperties.CharacterizationofLLDPE/NaAAcompoundsbyusingFouriertransforminfraredspectrometry(FTIR)suggeststhattheneutralizationandpolymerizationreactioncouldbeachievedeffectively.UsingadequateDCPcontentisthekeyfactorforcontrollingthepolymerizationofNaAAwithpreciseconversionratio.

简介:ThebasestructureofinsituTiCP/Fecompositesfabricatedunderindustrialconditionwaschangedbydifferentheattreatments.Erosiveweartestswerecarriedoutandtheresultswerecomparedwiththatofwear-resistantwhitecastiron.TheresultssuggestthatthewearresistanceoftheinsituTiCp/Fecompositeishigherthanthatofwear-resistantwhitecastironunderthesanderosivewearcondition.Thewearmechanismofthewear-resistantwhitecastironwasacycleprocessthatbasesurfacewaswornandcarbideswereexposed,thencarbideswasbrokenandwearpitsappeared.WhilethewearmechanismofinsituTiCp/FecompositewasacycleprocessthatbasesurfacewaswornandTiCgrainswereexposedanddropped.ThewearresistanceofinsituTiCp/Fecompositewaslowerthanthatofwear-resistantwhitecastironundertheslurryerosivewearcondition.Undersuchcircumstance,thematerialwasnotonlyundergoneerosivewearbutalsoelectrochemistryerosionduetothecontactwithwaterinthemedium.Thewearbehaviourscanbeacombinationoftwokindsofwearandthesanderosivewearisworsethanslurryerosivewear.

简介:BackgroundNormally,fewimmunocompetentcellarepresentintheendolymphaticsac(ES).Duringanactiveimmuneresponseintheinnerear,largeamountofinflammatorycells,includingimmunocompetentcells,areseenintheES.ThecurrentstudyaimedatassessingcellularproliferationwithintheESduringinducedimmuneresponseintheinnerear.MethodsFifteenhealthy,femaleSDratsweresensitizedsystemicallywithkeyholelimpethemocyanin(KLH),followedbylocalinoculationinthecochleathroughbasalturnfenestrationwiththesameantigen.OnDays3,7and14followinginoculation,theanimalwassacrificedafterintraperitonealadministrationof5-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine(BrdUrd),andthetemporalboneharvested.Followingdecalcification,infiltrationbyBrdUrd-andIgG-positivecellsintheESwasstudiedonfrozensectionswithH&Eandimmunohistochemicalstaining.ResultsDuringthesecondaryimmuneresponseintheinnerearagainstT-dependentantigens,thereisincreasedcellularproliferationintheES.Theproliferatedcellsmaydifferentiateintoimmunocompetentcellsatthesamelocation.ConclusionsThesefindingsindicatethattheESplaysanimportantroleinimmuneresponseofinnerear.

简介:Thestudyiscarriedoutontheeffectofdrillingnoiseandvibrationongrowthofgrasscarp,MyloparyngodonPiceus,byusingcut-finmarkingmethodinsitu.Comparedwithothermethods,themethodismoreappropriate,foritsoperationissimplerandmoredatamaybeobtainedunderthesamecondition.Theresultsshowthatdrillingnoiseandvibrationhavesignificanteffectonthegrowthofgrasscarp.Criticalequivalentnoiseandvibrationgrade(NleqandVleq)areabout84.4dBand90.2dB,andtheaffectingradiusisabout8.5m.Theeffectofdrillingnoiseandvibrationcouldbeinfluencedbysomefactors,suchasdurationofpollutionandbodyweightofgrasscarp,etc.Grasscarp′sgrowthcouldrapidlyrecoverafterremovingdrillingnoiseandvibration,indicatingthatthedrillingnoiseandvibrationdonotdamagethefishorgansandtheeffectisreversible.Therefore,theeffectmechanismmaybeduetotheactivatingresponseofnon-hearingsystem.

简介:Insituphotochromicprocessinthemonolayerofaphotochromicspiropyranderivativewithoutlongalkylchain,wasinvestigated.Thephotochromismattheair/waterinterfaceunderdiffernetsurfacepressureswasstudiedbysurfacepressure-areaisotherms,surfacepressure-timecurves,area-timecurvesandBrewsteranglemicroscopy.Bothformsofthecompoundwerefoundtoformmonolayersattheair/waterinterfacealthouhgitdoesnothavelongalkylchain.Alargeareaexpansioninthemonolayercorrespondingtoazreo^thorderreactionwasfoundattheinitialstageoftheUVlightirradiation.Aseriesofdynamicinvestigationsrevealedthatathighpressureafterphasetransitioninthemonolayer,thesurfacepressurechangesgreatlyumderalternativeirradiationofUVandvisiblelight.Anobviousmorphologicalchangeaccompanyingwiththephotochromismwasobservedinsitu.
