简介:Coldringrollingisanadvancedbutcomplexmetalformingprocessundercoupledeffectswithmulti-factors,suchasgeometrysizesofrollsandringblank,material,formingprocessparametersandfriction,etc.Amongthesefactors,frictionbetweenrollsandringblankplaysanimportantroleinkeepingthestableformingofcoldringrolling.Ananalyticalmethodwasfirstlypresentedforproximatelydeterminingthecriticalfrictioncoefficientofstableformingandthenamethodwasproposedtodeterminethecriticalfrictioncoefficientbycombininganalyticalmethodwithnumericalsimulation.Andtheinfluenceoffrictioncoefficientonthequalityofend-planeandsidespreadofring,rollingforce,rollingmomentandmetalflowcharacteristicinthecoldringrollingprocesshavebeenexploredusingthethreedimensional(3D)numericalsimulationbasedontheelastic-plasticdynamicfiniteelementmethod(FEM)undertheABAQUSsoftwareenvironment,andtheresultsshowthatincreasingthefrictiononthecontactsurfacesbetweenrollsandringblankisusefulnotonlyforimprovingthestabilityofcoldringrollingbutalsoforimprovingthegeometryanddimensionprecisionofdeformedring.
