Constrained Control of Interpolating Surfaces by Parameters

Inordertomeettheneedsofpracticaldesign,aninterpolationtechniqueisemployedtoconstraintheshapeofsurfaces.Themethodofpreservingpositivityontheinterpolationsurfaceandconstraintoninterpolatingdataisalsodeveloped.Theadvantageofthisnewmethodisthatitcanbeusedtoconstraintheshapeofaninterpolatingsurfaceonlybyselectingsuitableparameters,andnumericalexamplesarepresentedtoshowtheperformanceofthemethod.
