Thebindingenergyofexcitonsconfinedtoaquantumringundertheinfluenceofperpendicularhomogeneousmagneticfieldiscalculatedasafunctionoftheringradius.Calculationsaremadebyusingthemethodofexactdiagonalizationwithintheeffective-massapproximation.Thefeatureofbindingenergyofthegroundstateasafunctionoftheringradiusforseveralvaluesofthemagneticfieldhasbeenrevealed.Theinterestingfeatureofourstudyisthat,inaquantumring,thegeometricstructureofexcitonsmayrevealtransition.
