Tomakeaudiowatermarkingaccomplishbothcopyrightprotectionandcontentauthenticationwithlocalization,anovelmultipurposeaudiowatermarkingschemeisproposedinthispaper.Thezero-watermarkingideaisintroducedintothedesignofrobustwatermarkingalgorithmtoensurethetransparencyandtoavoidtheinterferencebetweentherobustwatermarkandthesemi-fragilewatermark.ThepropertyofnaturalaudiothattheVQindicesofDWT-DCTcoefficientsamongneighboringframestendtobeverysimilarisutilizedtoextractessentialfeaturefromthehostaudio,whichisthenusedforwatermarkex-traction.And,thechaoticmappingbasedsemi-fragilewatermarkisembeddedinthedetailwaveletcoefficientsbasedontheinstantaneousmixingmodeloftheindependentcomponentanalysis(ICA)system.Boththerobustandsemi-fragilewatermarkscanbeextractedblindlyandthesemi-fragilewatermarkingalgorithmcanlocalizethetamperingaccurately.Simulationresultsdemonstratetheeffectivenessofouralgorithmintermsoftransparency,security,robustnessandtamperinglocalizationability.
