Selfscanningphotodiodearray(SSPA)isakindofsolidstateimagingsensor.ThesignalprocessingmethodusingaspecialsectorSSPAwasinvestigated.BasedontheprincipleandcharacteristicsofSSPA,asignalacquisitionandprocessingmethodcontrolledbycomputerwasintroduced.Theamplificationofweaksignal,thematchingoftimesequence,thefastpeakholdingwithlowleakage,thehighspeedA/Dconversionandnonlinearcorrectionwerediscussed.ThismethodcanacquirethepeaksignalofeveryringofsectorSSPAwithhighaccuracyandinrealtime.Itcanbeusedtodetectthedistributionofspacelightenergy.
