ThespinelLiMn2O4-x(SO4)xcompoundcathodematerialsweresynthesizedbysolid-statereactionofthecalculatedamountsofLiOH·H2O,MnO2andMnSO4.Theresultsoftheelectrochemicaltestdemonstratedthatthesematerialsexhbitedexcellentelectrochemicalproperties.Thehighestreversiblecapacityoftheseseriesofcathodematerialswas-120mAh/g,andafter50cycles,thisreversiblecapacitywasstillaround116mAh/gwithnearly100%reversibleefficiency,whichrevealedthatdopedsulfateioncouldimprovethestructuralstabilityofspinel.
