Microstructuresofmatrixesofaseriesofhightechnologycastableshavebeenanalyzed.Intheselowcement,ultra-lowcementandnon-cementcastablematrixes,whichweresinteredrespectivelyat1350℃and1500℃，silicaulrtafineandα-Al2O3ultrafinewereadded,Theresultsshowthatthenon-cementcastablehadthebestpropertiesathightemerature;addingα-Al2O3ultrafinewashelpfultocalcium-feldspardeveopingandgrowing;andhighlypurifiedsilicaultrafinestiumulatedmullitecrystaldevelopingwhilethecommononestimulateditsgrowing.
