AtFermilab'sCDFfarmamodularandhighlyscalablesoftwareandcontrolsystemforprocessing,reprocessing,MonteCarlogenerationandmanyothertaskshasbeencreated.ThesystemiscalledFPS(FarmProcessingSystem).Thissystemconsistsofindependentsoftwarecomponentsandallowsmodificationstosuitothertypesofprocessingaswell.FPSisaccompaniedwithfullyfeaturedmonitoringandcontrolinterfaces,includingwebstatisticsdisplaysandamultiplatformJavacontrolinterfacethatalloweasymanagementandcontrol.Thesystemalsofeaturesautomaticerrorrecoveryprocedureswithearlywarningsthatallowsmoothrunning.Ageneraloverviewofthesoftwaredesingalongwithadescriptionofthefeaturesandlimitationsofthesystemanditscomponentswillbepresented.Run2experiencewiththesystemwillbegiveraswell.
