Aseriesofthecoconutactivatedcarbons(CAC)basedabsorbentsmodifiedwithCuandCe(Cu/CAC,Cu/Ce/CAC)werepreparedbyimpregnationtechnologyforcarbondioxidecapture.TheadsocrptionequilibriumsofCO2onCu/CACandCu/Ce/CACweremeasured.TheresultsshowedthattheadsorptioncapacityofCO2ontotheactivatedcarbonmodifiedwithCu/Ceincreasedwiththedecreasingtemperatureinthesamepressure.TheadsorptioncapacityofCO2onCu/CACwashigherthanthatoftheblankCAC,andcomparedwiththeCu/CAC,theadsorptioncapacityofCO2ofCu/Ce/CACwiththemassratioofCu/Ce=30wasimprovedat298and303K.Inaddition,theadsorptionequilibriumdataforCO2atvarioustemperatureswasfittedtoLangmuir,FreundlichandD-Risothermmodels.ItwasfoundthattheD-RequationwasthebestmodelforfittingtheadsorptiondataonCu/Ce/CACatdifferenttemperatures.
