A Network Partition Algorithm for Mining Gene Functional Modules of Colon Cancer from DNA Microarray Data-中国期刊网

摘要 Computationalanalysisisessentialfortransformingthemassesofmicroarraydataintoamechanisticunderstandingofcancer.Herewepresentamethodforfindinggenefunctionalmodulesofcancerfrommicroarraydataandhaveappliedittocoloncancer.First,acoloncancergenenetworkandanormalcolontissuegenenetworkwereconstructedusingcorrelationsbetweenthegenes.Thenthemodulesthattendedtohaveahomogeneousfunctionalcompositionwereidentifiedbysplit-tingupthenetwork.Analysisofbothnetworksrevealedthattheyarescale-free.Comparisonofthegenefunctionalmodulesforcoloncancerandnormaltissuesshowedthatthemodules’functionschangedwiththeirstructures.
