Identification welding parameters using complex criteria of quality-中国期刊网

摘要 Inthepresentpaper,thegraphicalmethoddeterminationofoptimalweldingparametersofGMAWisdescribed.Somequalitycomplexcriteriathataretheratioofweldsizeshavebeenproposed.Thesecriteriaallowoptimizingtheshapeoftheweldmetalzone,reducingthelikelihoodofhotcracksformation,andreducingthestressconcentrationoftheweldatthetoe.Intheproposedmethodology,theearlierdescribedequationsconnectingtheweldingparametersandthewelddimensionsofmildandlow-alloysteelsareexplored.Determinationoftheoptimalweldingparametersiscarriedoutgraphicallytakingintoaccountthevarianceoftheweldingparameters.Anexampleofusingtheproposedmethoddestinedtodeterminetheoptimumweldingparametersisprovided.Itisshownthatitsaccuracyissufficientlygoodforapracticalapplication.
