摘要
Thispaperproposesatechniquetomitigatethevoltageunbalanceissuecausedbythehighpenetrationofphotovoltaic(PV)systemsintothelowvoltagedistributionnetworks(LVDN)usingasinglephaseenergystoragesystem(ESS).TheESScomprisesabi-directionalpowerflowinverterandabatterybank.Thesystemiscapableofabsorbingtheexcesspoweranddeliveringpowertothenetworkinordertokeepthevoltageunbalancefactor(VUF)belowthestatutorylimitof1%.Investigationsarecarriedoutintheexperimentalsmall-scaleenergyzone(SSEZ).TheexperimentalresultsdemonstratethattheESSiscapableofmitigatingtheVUFofthenetwork.
