  • 简介:扶桑又叫朱槿、佛槿、中国蔷薇。由于花色大多为红色,所以中国岭南一带将之俗称为大红花。常绿灌木,株高约1-3m;小枝圆柱形,疏被星状柔毛。叶阔卵形或狭卵形,长4-9cm,宽25cm,先端渐尖,基部圆形或楔形,边缘具粗齿或缺刻,两面除背面沿脉上有少许疏毛外均无毛;叶柄长5-20mm,上面被长柔毛;托叶线形,长5-12mm,被毛。

  • 简介:MYBtranscriptionfactorsrepresentafamilyofgenesthatincludetheconservedMYBDNA-bindingdomain,andtheyarewidelyinvolvedintheregulationofplantdevelopmentandsecondarymetabolism.Inthisstudy,PartofsequencesoftwoMYBtranscriptionfactorswasdeterminedthroughthecDNAmicroarrayhybridizationandselectionofcDNAlibraryderivedfromtendershoots.Thefull-lengthcDNAsofthegeneswereobtainedwithRT-PCRandRACE,andtheywere1132bpand1020bp,namedasCsMYB1andCsMYB2(GenBankaccessionNo.HQ660373andHQ660374),andcontainedORFsof879bpand675bpencoding292and224aminoacids,respectively.Sequencesanalysisshowedthatthededucedproteinmolecularweightofthetwogeneswere32.9kuand25.4ku,andtheproteinscontainedtwoconservedMYBdomainsneartheN-terminusandaconservedC1motifneartheR3domains.ThededucedaminoacidsequenceofCsMYB1andCsMYB2fromteaplantshowedhighidentitywiththatofotherplants,forinstanceCsMYB1shared57%homologywithMYB1ofGossypiumhirsutumandCsMYB2shared75%homologywithMYBC2ofVitisvinifera.Theresultofrealtime-PCRanalysisshowedthetwogeneswereexpressedconstitutivelyinalltissueswithdifferentexpressionlevels,e.g.therelativeexpressionlevelofCsMYB2inleafwashundredtimeshigherthanthatinroot.Additionally,shadingenhancedCsMYB1expression,whilethetreatmentdidnotaltertheexpressionlevelofCsMYB2.

  • 简介:Amultipurposecloneplantspecies,Hippophaerhamniodeshasthecapacityforindefinitelongevity,althoughundersuccessivedroughtstressitmayoftendeclineordieacrosslargeareas.Fieldtrialswereconductedover2yearstoexaminetheeffectsofvariedirrigationintensitiesonmodulargrowthandclonalpropagationinasemi-aridarea.Irrigationlevelsincludedacontrol,aswellastwo,fourandsixtimesthevolumeofwaterthatwastypicallyreceivedvialocalannualaverageprecipitation.Irrigationintensitysignificantlyinfluencedclonalpropagationcapacity(numberofdaughterramets),abovegroundmodulargrowth(height,basediameter,andcrownwidth),belowgroundmodulargrowthincludedrootnoduledryweight,stretchingcapacityoflateralroots(lengthofthelongestlateralroots,anddiameteroffirstgradelateralroots),andbranchingintensityoflateralroots(numberoflateralrootsbifurcationgrade,numberoffirstgradelateralroots).Themodulargrowthandthedensityofdaughterrametsweresmallundernon-irrigationorlowirrigation,andbecamelargerwithincreasedirrigationintensity.Beyondacertainthreshold,however,furtherincreasesinirrigationintensityresultedinareversiontothedevelopment.Theoptimalirrigationintensitiesforgrowthandpropagationwere3.48–5.29timesthevolumeofnominallocalannualaverageprecipitation.Therewereeffectsofirrigationintensitiesonthepositivesignificantcorrelationsbetweenabovegroundandbelowgroundmodulargrowths,andonclonalpropagationcapacities.Undervariouswatertreatments,H.rhamnoidesmayadapttotheenvironmentthroughtheregulationofgrowthandpropagation.WeconcludedthatwatershortagesacttoweakenthegrowthandpropagationofH.rhamniodesplantations.

  • 简介:SeacucumberandcordycepssinensisareusedasbothfoodandtraditionalmedicinesinAsia.Thisstudywascarriedoutinordertoinvestigatethehpyerglycemiceffectofamixtureofseacucumber(Apostichopusjaponicas)andcordycepssinensis(Cordycepsmilitaris)(SCC)indiabeticratandexplorethemechanismunderliningsuchaneffect.Thediabeticmodelratwasinducedwithintraperitonealinjectionofstreptozotocin(STZ).Thediabeticmodelratswererandomlydividedintocontrolgroup(0.9%NaCl),lowdosegroup(300mgSCC·(kgbodyweight)-1)andhighdosegroup(1200mgSCC(kgbodyweight)-1).SodiumchlorideandSCCwereintragastricallyadministeredonceadayfor35d.Changesinfastingserumglucoseandseruminsulincontent,oralglucosetoleranceandliverandmuscleglycogencontentwereroutinelyevaluated.Pancreastissueandβ-cellsofisletswereobservedunderbothopticalandtransmissionelectronicmicroscope,respectively.Theabundanceofglucosemetabolism-relatinggenesingastrocnemiusandepididymaladiposetissuewasdeterminedwitheitherreversetranscriptionPCR(RT-PCR)orwesternblotting.ResultsshowedthatSCCsignificantlydecreasedfastingserumglucosecontent,improvedglucosetoleranceandincreasedseruminsulinandglycogencontent;repairedSTZ-injuredβ-cellsofdiabeticrat,andincreasedtheexpressionofphosphatidylinositol3kinase(PI(3)K),proteinkinaseB(PKB)andglucosetransporter4(Glut4)encodingproteininbothgastrocnemiusandadiposetissue,andGlut4encodinggeneinperipheraltissue.OurfindingsdemonstratedthatSCCexertedananti-hyperglycemiceffectbyrepairingβ-cellsandpromotinginsulin-mediatedsignaltransductionpathwayininsulin-sensitivegastrocnemiusandadiposetissue.

  • 简介:利用33对SSR引物对来自中国16个省的46份野生芒(Miscanthussinensis)种质进行遗传多样性分析。结果显示:(1)33对SSR引物共扩增出87条DNA条带,75条为多态性条带,占86.21%,条带大小范围80~310bp;(2)遗传多样性参数分析结果:Shannon’s信息指数(1)变幅为0.020—1.522,平均为0.745,引物多态性信息含量(P1C)变幅为0.040~0.738,平均为0.445,遗传相似系数(GS)的变幅为O.315~0.933,平均为0.569,说明我国芒种质资源遗传基础宽,遗传多样性丰富;(3)相似系数UMPGA聚类结果与主成分分析(PCA)结果一致,可将46份种质分为3大类群,类群I主要由中部芒组成,类群Ⅱ主要由北方芒组成,类群Ⅲ主要由南方芒组成,西南芒在每个类群中均有渗透,这一结果说明芒种质资源的遗传分化与其种源的地理分布有一定的相关性,但与地理起源不能完全吻合。
