简介:RecentexaminationandassessmentabouttheporphyrycopperdepositsinGangdisemetallogenicbeltinsouthernTibethaverevealedthattheseporphyrycopperdepositsarehighlyprospective.SeveralmethodshavebeenusedfortheisotopicdatingoftheQulong,TinggongandChongjiangporphyrycopperdeposits,whichgivesoutapetrogeneticageof17.58±0.74Ma(single-zircondatingofSHRIMP),ametallogeneticageof15.99±0.32Ma(Re-Osisochrondating)andanalterationagerangingbetween12.00Maand16.5Ma(K-Ardating).Themetallogeneticageisingeneralagreementwiththealterationage.ItcanbeseenthatthepetrogeneticandmetallogeneticagesfortheporphyrycopperdepositsinGangdisemetallogenicbeltarenoticeablylaterthantheageforthecollisionalgraniticintrusioninthisbelt.Theauthorscontendthattheporphyrycopperdepositsinthestudyareawereformedinapost-collisionalextensionaltectonicsetting,andarecloselyrelatedtothedelaminationofthemountainrootsoftheorogenicbeltsandtheupliftingoftheQinghai-TibetPlateau.
