简介：摘要：随着新课程改革制度的不断深化，在当前的课堂教学中教师更加注重自身教学方式的调整。核心素养对于学科教学来说是一个较为关键的因素，以核心素养为背景进行的小学英语单元整体教学设计能够促进班级学生在课堂中有更为出色的表现；以单元为整体深度挖掘教材内容，开展课堂教学，确定英语课堂学习的目标和任务，促进学生在课堂上对于英语知识有一个深刻的理解。因此在本文中笔者结合自身的教学经验，探讨一下如何以核心素养为背景开展小学英语单元整体教学设计研究。
