简介:Theaimofthisstudyistoexaminetherelationshipbetweenenvironmentandpersonalwell-beingusingasampleof562urbanemployeesfromthreecitiesinLiaoningprovinceinthePeople'sRepublicofChina.Incontrasttopreviousstudies,thisstudycontrolledpositiveaffectivity(PA),negativeaffectivity(NA),jobsatisfactionandBigFivepersonalitytraits.Inaddition,theresearchvariablesofpersonalwell-beingindex(PWI),positiveaffectivity,negativeaffectivity,jobsatisfaction,BigFive,andenvironmentalsatisfactionaremeasuredwithmulti-itemscales.Theresearchfindsthatenvironmentalsatisfactionispositivelyrelatedtopersonalwell-being,suggestingthatimprovementofthenaturalsurroundingsinthecitiescanimprovepeople'swell-being.
简介:OnthebasisofdatacollectedfromLiupanshanpoverty-riddenareas,thepaperselects24variablesunder4groupstofigureouttheinfluencingfactorsofsubjectivewell-being(SWB)ofpeasantsinecologicalmigrationwiththemethodofOrderedProbitRegression.Asisshownintheresults,variablesunderpeasants’personalendowmentgroupandresourceofthedevelopmentgrouphavelittleimpactonpeasants’SWB.Thevariableswithobservableimpactareconcentratedinthelivingconditiongroupandthepublicatmospheregroup.
简介:Theobjectiveofsocialdevelopmentistoconstructaharmonioussociety.InChina,thekeytoaharmonioussocietyisthehappinessofmorethan900millionfarmerslivingintheruralareas.Thisstudyaimedtomeasureruralresidents'subjectivewell-being(SWB)throughthedayreconstructionmethod,aswellastoanalyzeSWB'sinfluencingfactorsthroughavarietyofstatisticalmethods.TheresultsshowedthattheaverageUindexwas12.79%,indicatingthatrespondentswereunhappy12.79%ofthetime.Twenty-sevenpercentofthepopulationhadaUindexgreaterthan0,withtheaveragevaluebeing47%,indicatingthatthesepeoplewereunhappy47%ofthetime.ThestudyalsofoundthatSWBvariedaccordingtothecharacteristicsoftherespondents.Logisticregressionanalysisshowedthatsocialanddemographicfactors,includingage,education,county,householdsize,generationnumber,percapitaincome,migrationstatusandsocialnetworking,whichsignificantlyaffectedruralresidents'SWB.Thesizeoftheimpactvariedwiththedifferentfactors.
