简介:ZrN-basedcompositesweresynthesizedfromzirconiaviaaluminothermicreductionandnitridationproceswithAlpowdersandMgOasthereductantandsinteringaids,respectively.ZrN-basedcompositesarepromisingforapplicationintherefractorymaterialsorotherhightemperatureindustryfields.TheeffectsofextraAlpowderonphysicalproperties,phasetransformationandmicrostructureswereinvestigated.ProductswithdifferenphasecompositionandmorphologieswereobtainedwithdifferentAlpowdersadditions.TheproductswerecomposedofZrN,ZrO_2,MgAl_2O_4,andZrAl_3O_3Nbyaluminothermalreductionandnitridationofzirconiawith0%extraAlpowdersaddition.ThediffractionpeaksoZrNwerethestrongestwhilepeaksofZrO_2vanishedwith6%extraAladdition.ThethermodynamiccalculationindicatedthatintroducingMgOintothesystemcouldpromotethereactionprocess.
