简介:Giantmagnetostrictiveactuators(GMAs)oftenworkinaclose-loopfeedbacksystem.Thissystemneedsindependentsensorswhichmaybedifficulttobefixed,besides,excessivesensorsmaycausemoreunpredictedproblemsinalargesystem.Thispaperaimstodevelopaself-sensingGMA.Anobserverbasedonpiezomagneticequationsisconstructedtoestimatethestressandstrainofthemagnetostrictivematerial.Theobserverbasedself-sensingapproachdependsonthefactsthatthemagneticfieldiscontrollableandthatthemagneticinductionismeasurable.Aimingatthenonlinearhysteresisinmagnetization,ahys-teresiscompensationobserverbasedonPreisachmodelisdeveloped.Experimentverifiedtheavailabilityoftheobserverapproach,andthehysteresiscompensationobserverhashighertrackingprecisionthanlinearobserverfordynamicforcesensing.
