摘要
Byuseofashoreline-changenumericalmodel(GENESIS)basedonone-linetheory,apreliminarymodelingstudyonshorelinechangescausedbyabeachnourishmentprojectinBeidaihe,China,ispresentedinthispaper.Firstly,theGENESISmodelisverifiedandmodelsensitivitytothemajorparameterchangesisdiscussedbysimulatingahydraulicmodeltest.Thebeachnourishmentproject,afterthattheshorelinechangeiskeptbeingmonitored,isasmall-scaleemergencyonecarriedouttousetwobathingplacesonthewestbeachinthesummer,2008.InthispapertheshorelinechangescausedbythebeachnourishmentprojectaremodeledbytheGENESISmodel,andthecomputedresultsfitwellwiththemeasuredshorelines.Withthesamemodelandparameters,along-termperformanceoftheprojectispredicted,andtheresultshowsthatthebathingplacesonlycanbesuitableforbathingin2to3yearswithoutsubsequencenourishmentproject.Therefore,itisproposedtonourishthebeachesintimetokeeptheservicelifeofthebeachinrecentyearsandcarryoutthebeachnourishmentprojectforthewholewestbeachassoonaspossible.更多还原
