摘要
Cascadingfailuresoftenoccurincongestedcomplexnetworks.Cascadingfailurescanbeexpressedasathree-phaseprocess:generation,diffusion,anddissipationofcongestion.Differentfromthebetweennesscentrality,acongestionfunctionisproposedtorepresenttheextentofcongestiononagivennode.Inspiredbytherestartprocessofanode,weintroducetheconceptof'delaytime,'duringwhichtheoverloadednodecannotreceiveorforwardanytraffic,soanintergradationbetweenpermanentremovalandnonremovalisbuiltandtheflexibilityofthepresentedmodelisdemonstrated.Consideringtheconnectivityofanetworkbeforeandaftercascadingfailuresisnotcrackedbecausetheoverloadednodearenotremovedfromnetworkpermanentlyinourmodel,anewevaluationfunctionofnetworkefficiencyisalsoproposedtomeasurethedamagecausedbycascadingfailures.Finally,weinvestigatetheeffectsofnetworkstructureandsize,delaytime,processingability,andtrafficgenerationspeedoncongestionpropagation.Cascadingprocessescomposedofthreephasesandsomefactorsaffectingcascadepropagationareuncoveredaswell.
