摘要 Themechanicalbackgroundofthebivariatesplinespaceofdegree2andsmoothness1onrectangularpartitionispresentedconstructively.Makinguseofmechan-icalanalysismethod,byactingcouplesalongtheinterioredgeswithsuitableevaluations,thedeflectionsurfaceisdividedintopiecewiseform,therefore,therelationbetweenaclassofbivariatesplinesonrectangularpartitionandthepurebendingofthinplateisestablished.Inaddition,theinterpretationofsmoothingcofactorandconformalitycon-ditionfromthemechanicalpointofviewisgiven.Furthermore,byintroducingtwistingmoments,themechanicalbackgroundofanysplinebelongtotheabovespaceissetup.
