摘要 Thispapertreatstheflowinstabilitiesinamixedflowpumpwithavaneddiffuser.Testpumphasapositiveslopeofahead-flowperformancecurveat65%flowrateofBEP(BestEfficiencyPoint)becauseofarotatingstall.DynamicParticleImageVelocimetry(PIV)andpressurefluctuationmeasurementsareusedforinvestigatingthepropagationmechanismofarotatingstall.Itwasfoundthatunstableperformancewascausedbyperiodicallargescaleabruptbackflowgeneratedfromthevaneddiffusertotheoutletofimpeller.Further,therelationbetweenthestaticpressureattheinletofdiffuservaneandtheinternalflowconditionwasclarified.Fromtheseexperimentalresults,inordertoimprovethepositiveslopeofahead-flowperformancecurve,tosuppressthegrowthofstrongvortextowardtheinletofdiffuservanewasprovedtobeakeypoint.
