INTEGRAL COLLISION KERNEL FOR THE GROWTH OF AEROSOL PARTICLES

摘要 Integralcollisionkerneliselucidatedusingexperimentalresultsfortitania,silicaandaluminananoparticlessynthesizedbyFCVDprocess,andtitaniasubmicronparticlessynthesizedinatubefurnacereactor.Theintegralcollisionkernelwasobtainedfromaparticlenumberbalanceequationbytheintegrationofcollisionratesfromthekinetictheoryofdilutegasesforthefree-moleculeregime,fromtheSmoluchowskitheoryforthecontinuumregime,andbyasemi-empiricalinterpolationforthetransitionregimebetweenthetwolimitingregimes.Comparisonshavebeenmadeonparticlesizeandtheintegralcollisionkernel,showingthatthepredictedintegralcollisionkernelagreedwellwiththeexperimentalresultsinKnudsennumberrangefromabout1.5to20.
