摘要
Chemosensoryproteins(CSPs)areidentifiablebyfourspatiallyconservedCysteineresiduesintheirprimarystructureorbytwodisulfidebridgesintheirtertiarystructureaccordingtothepreviouslyidentifiedolfactoryspecific-Drelatedproteins.Agenomics-andbioinformatics-basedapproachistakeninthepresentstudytoidentifytheputativeCSPsinthemalaria-carryingmosquito,Anophelesgambiae.TheresultsshowthatfiveoutofthenineannotatedcandidatesarethemostpossibleAnophelesCSPsofA.gambiae.ThisstudylaysthefoundationforfurtherfunctionalidentificationofAnophelesCSPs,thoughallofthesecandidatesneedadditionalexperimentalverification.
