Electrochemical Deposition and Properties of Nanometerstructure Ce-doped Lead Dioxide Film Electrode

摘要 TheeffectofCe(Ⅲ)onthemorphologyandstructureofdepositedfilmofleaddioxidewasstudiedbycyclicvoltammetry(CV),X-raydiffractometry(XRD)andscanningtunnelingmicroscopy(STM).TheresultsindicatedthattheCe-dopedPbO2filmconsistedofamixtureofα-andβ-phaseofPbO2.CedopingchangedthesizeofPbO2crystalgrainsandmadethecrystallitesizeontheelectrodesurfaceinthenanometerrange.Owingtotheformationofnanometer-structuredgrains,thespecificsurfaceareasandactivitysitesoftheelectrodesurfacewereincreased,hencethecatalyticactivityofCe-dopedPbO2electrodewasevidentlyhigherthanthatofundopedPbO2electrode.
