Inthispaper,weproposeaparallelGauss-Seideltypeiterativemethodforsolvingthelarge-scalesystemofnonlinearalgebraicequationsAφ(x)+Bψ(x)=b,whichisanasynchronousvariantofthesynchronousparallelnonlinearGauus-SeideltypemethodgivenbyR.E.White.Withalmostthesamebutsomewhatmorerelaxedconstrainteonthemultiplesplittings,weprovetheconvergenceandestimatetheconvergencerateofthenewmethod.
