Preoperative detection and localization of small bowel hemangioma: Two case reports-中国期刊网

摘要 Amongthevariousdiagnosticmodalitiesforsmallbowelhemangioma,videocapsuleendoscopy(VCE)anddouble-balloonenteroscopy(BE)canberecommendedaspartofthework-upinpatientswithobscuregastrointestinalbleeding(OGIB).BEissuperiortoVCEintheaccuracyofdiagnosisandtherapeuticpotential,whileinmostcasestotalenteroscopycannotbeachievedthroughonlytheantegradeorretrogradeBEprocedures.Astreatmentforsmallbowelbleeding,especiallyspoutbleeding,localizationofthelesionforthedecisionofBEinsertionfacilitatesearlytreatment,suchasendoscopichemostaticclipping,allowingpatientstoavoiduselesstransfusionandtheworseningoftheirdiseaseintolife-threateningstatus.ApplyingendoscopicIndiainkmarkingpriortolaparoscopicsurgicalresectionisaparticularlyusefultechniqueformoreminimallyinvasivetreatment.WereporttwocasesofsmallbowelhemangiomafoundinexaminationsforOGIBthatweretreatedwithcombinationoflaparoscopicandendoscopicmodalities.
