FACE RECOGNITION FROM FRONT－VIEW FACE-中国期刊网

摘要 Thisletterpresentsafacenormalizationalgorithmbasedon2-Dfacemodeltorecognizefaceswithvariantposturesfromfront-viewface.A2-Dfacemeshmodelcanbeextractedfromfaceswithrotationtoleftorrightandthecorrespondingfront-viewmeshmodelcanbeestimatedaccordingtothefacialsymmetry.Thenbasedontheinnerrelationshipbetweenthetwomeshmodels,thenormalizedfront-viewfaceisformedbygraylevelmapping.Finally,thefacerecognitionwillbefinishedbasedonPrincipalComponentAnalysis(PCA).Experimentsshowthatbetterfacerecognitionperformanceisachievedinthisway.
