Endophyticfungiarewidelyfoundinalmostallkindsofplants.Manyendophyticfungicanproducesomephysiologicalactivecompounds,whicharesametooranalogtothoseisolatedfromtheirhosts.Producingphysiologicalactivecompoundsthroughmicrobialfermentationcangiveanewwaytoresolveresourcelimitationandtofindoutalternativesource.Throughthemethodsoforganicsolventextraction,thinlayerchromatography(TLC)andcolumnchromatography,compoundIwasisolated,purifiedfromtheliquidfermentationmetabolitesofthetaxoids-producedendophyticfungi(Alternaria.alternatavar.taxi1011Y.XiangetLUAn-guo)thatwasscreenedfromthebarkofTaxus.cuspidataSieb.etZucc..CompoundIwasidentifiedasonekindoftaxoidstypeIII,basedontheanalyzingresultsbyusingthemethodsofultravioletspectroscopy(UV),infraredspectroscopy(IR),massspectrometry(MS)andnuclearmagneticresonancespectroscopy(NMR).Thisstudyprovidesacompletedmethodforseparationandpurificationoftheendophyticfungiaswellasstructureidentificationofitsfermentationmetabolite
