Examination of Historical Data of the 1125 Lanzhou M7.0 Earthquake and Analysis of Seismogenic Structure-中国期刊网

摘要 DetailedexaminationofhistoricaldataofearthquakesandfieldinvestigationsofloesslandslidecausedbytheearthquakeandtracingofactivefaultsinLanzhouareaindicatethattheYijitanputown,oneofsixtownsofJinchengcity,wasdevastatedbythe1125Lanzhouearthquake.ThecitlyisnowlocatedintheVinylonFactorysouthofHekou(RiverMouth)intheXigudistictofLanzhoucity.WedelerminedthatthesixoldtownsmentionedinhistoricalrecordslieinanareastretchingfromthesouthofXigudistricttoHekouinLanzhou.Thisisconsistentwiththedistibutionofloesslandslidescausedbytheearthquake,theextensionofHoloceneactivefaults,andthedistributionoftracesoftheseismicrupturezone.Acomprehensiveanalysisshowsthattheseismogenicstructureforthe1125LanzhouM7.0earthquakeshouldbetheXianshuigoufaultsegmentatthewesternterminationofthenorth-borderactivefaultzoneoftheMaxianshanMountainswhicharelocatedinsouthofLanzhoucitywiththedistanceofonly4km.
