Image—Based Synthesis of Chinese Landscape Painting-中国期刊网

摘要 ThispaperdescribesanewframeworkforsynthesizingChineselandscapepaintingusinganimage-basedapproach.Theframeworkinvolvestwostages:apreprocessingphase,inwhichafewbrushstroketextureprimitivities(BSTP)arecollectedfromsamplesofhand-madeChinesepaintings,andthecontrolpictureisconstructedtoprovidecolorIDsofmountains,andtheon-linephases,inwhichthefogimageissynthesizedandmountainsare"drawn"bymappingmultiplelayersofBSTPguidedbythecontrolpicture.Whenmorecomplexshadingisneeded,theshadingpictureisconstructedandusedduringtheBSTPmappingphase.Finally,thesynthesizedChineselandscapepaintingsofavarietyofstylesaregivenandtheylookmoreclosetothehandmadeworkthanthoseproducedwithpreviousmodelingmethods.
