Thereformandopening-upisagreatchangeincontemporaryChinesesociety.ItnotonlybroughtabouttremendouschangestoChina,butalsoprofoundlychangedtherelationsbetweenChinaandtheworld.Inthediplomaticfieldsincethereformandopening-up,guidedbytheideologicallineof“liberatingthemindandseekingtruthfromfacts,”Chinahasadheredtoscientificjudgmentoftheinternationalsituationandtheexternalenvironment,keepinginmindbothinternalandinternationalimperatives,andhasbrokennewgroundamidreformandinnovation.AsChinabecomesmoreintegratedwiththeworldinacomprehensiveandin-depthway,Chinahassignificantlychangeditsdiplomaticconcepts,policies,patternsandstyles.Atthesametime,Chinaretainsthestabilityandcontinuityofitsoverallstrategy.China’sinternationalpositioning,whichhasalwaysbeenacriticalpremisefortheformulationofChina’sdiplomaticstrategy,playsanimportantroleinthisduality.“
