摘要
Amongallcongenitalheartdisease,Ebsteinanomalyisthelesionwiththewidestspectrumofpresentation.Itcanpresentasearlyastheneonatalperiodwhereimmediateinterventionisoftenneededtotheadultwithnodiscernablesymptoms.Itisalsoonewhereoveralloutcomegreatlyrelatestoageatpresentation.Generally,presentationintheneonatalperiodisassociatedwithpooroutcomeswhilepresentationbeyondtheneonatalperiodhasexcellentoutcomeswithlowoperativemortality.ItisthusapparentthatunderstandingeveryaspectoftheanatomyandphysiologyofEbsteinanomalyandhowitmanifestsclinicallyisparamounttosuccessfultreatment.ThepurposeofthisreviewistooutlinethecurrentconceptsandstrategiesinthesurgicalmanagementofEbsteinanomaly,andtodiscussthecurrentexpertconsensusonhowbesttotacklethiscongenitalheartdiseaseatdifferentagesofdiagnosis.
