摘要
Electronbeamweldingplaysanimportantroleintheaerospaceindustrywherecomponentslikesensors,gears,actuatorsandairframesusedinaircraftandrocketengineswereweldedusingthistechnique.Weldingisnormallyperformedinavacuumtoavoidthescatterofelectronduetothepresenceofgasmoleculesintheatmosphereandhenceelectronbeamweldingprocessprovidesthegreaterresults.Butstilljoiningofdissimilarmetalsischallenging.Thispaperrepresentsreviewofprocess,generationanddistributionofheatsourcevariousinputparameters,materials,microstructure,mechanicalstrengthandthepossibilitiesofjoiningdissimilarmetalsusingelectronbeamwelding.
