ThefirststarsintheearlyUniversewereformedabout400millionyearsafterthebigbang.VerificationoftheexistenceofthesestarsisimportantforourunderstandingoftheevolutionoftheUniverse[1].IthasbeenpredictedthatforPopulation-IIIstellarproductionyields,theabundancesofodd-Zelementsareremarkablydeficientcomparedtotheiradjacenteven-Zelements[2].Astronomersaresearchingforlong-lived,lowmassstarswiththeuniquenucleosyntheticpatternmatchingthepredictedyields[3].
