摘要 Thepedestalcharacteristicisanimportantbasisforhighconfinementmode(Hmode)research.BecauseofthefinitespatialresolutionofThomsonscattering(TS)diagnosticonExperimentalAdvancedSuperconductingTokamak(EAST),itisnecessarytocharacterizethepedestalwithasuitablefunctionalform.BasedonsimulatedandexperimentaldataofEAST,itisshownthatthetwo-linemethodwithabilinearfittinghasbetterreproducibilityofpedestalparametersthanhyperbolictangent(tanh)andmodifiedhyperbolictangent(mtanh)methods.ThismethodhasbeenappliedtoEASTtypeIedgelocalizedmode(ELM)discharges,andtheelectronpedestaldensityisfoundtobeproportionaltotheline-averageddensityandtheedgepressuregradientisfoundtobeproportionaltothepedestalpressure.Furthermore,theionpoloidalgyro-radiushasbeenidentifiedasthesuitableparametertodescribethepedestalpressurewidth.
