Exploration and research progress on ion-adsorption type REE deposit in South China

摘要 Since2011,certainadvanceshavebeenmadethroughtheresourceinvestigation,metallogenesisresearch,miningsupervisionandenvironmentalprotectionofion-adsorptiontyperareearthelement(REE)depositinSouthChina.Firstly,someprogresshasbeenmadeinREEprospectinginJiangxi,Guangdong,GuangxiandYunnan.REEdepositsarenotonlyfoundwithintheweatheringcrustsofgranitesandfelsicvolcanicrocks,butalsowithintheweatheringcrustsofepimetamorphicrocksandbasicmagmaticrocks.Secondly,themethodsofexploration,delineatingorebodiesandcalculationofreserveshavebeenimproved,whichintuitivelyreflectthethickness,REEcompositionandvalueofweatheringcrust.Thirdly,therelationshipbetweenREEsandweatheringdegreeandtheruleofdistribution,migrationandenrichmentofREEsintheweatheringprofilewassummarizedthroughtheanalysisofbigdata,whichcanpredictthemetallogenetichorizonofREEs.Fourthly,amethodforquick,accurateanddynamicinvestigationoftheREEdeposithasbeenestablishedbyusinghighresolutionremotesensingtechnology.Finally,therelationbetweentheproductionstatusofREEminesandwaterpollutionhasbeenrevealedbasedonlong-termhydrochemicalmonitoringdataofriversandwellsinminesandsurroundingareas.
