Mechanism of Gonadal Precocity in Cultured Large Yellow Croaker,Pseudosciaena Crocea: A Study of Microstructure and Submicrostructure of Leydig Cell and Sertoli Cell in Testis

摘要 MicrostructureandsubmicrostructureofLeydigcellandSertolicellinthetestisofgonadalprecocityandimmaturationinculturedlargeyellowcroaker,Pseudosciaenacrocea,arestudiedusinghistologyandelectronmicroscopictechnique.Theresultsindicatethatthefinestructureofthetwokindsofcellsindifferentdevelopmentstagespresentsanobviousdifference.ThesmoothendoplasmicreticularandtubularmitochondriaofLeydigcellandSertolicellarewelldevelopedinthetestisofgonadalprecocity,butpoorlydevelopedinthetestisofimmaturation.WesuggestthatthereasonforgonadalprecocityinthelargeyellowcroakermayberelatedtotheearlierdevelopmentandmaturationofLeydigcellandSertolicell.
