Mechanicalcharacterizationofsteelframestructureafterfireareanalyzedbasedonfiredynamics,heattransfertheory,structuralmechanics,andfiniteelementtheory.Westudythetemperaturecharacteristicsandmechanicalpropertiesofsteelframestructureunderdifferentfirelocationsandproposeasafetyevaluationmethod.Wealsoanalyzedamagelevelofmainframecomponents,maximumtemperatureoffire,thermalcharacteristicsofframecomponents,firingduration,etc.toprovideusefulinformationforfireresistancedesignofthesteelframestructureandpost-disastersafetyevaluation.
