摘要
Underinvestigationinthispaperisa(3+1)-dimensionalvariable-coefficientKadomtsev–Petviashviliequation,whichdescribesthepropagationofsurfaceandinternalwaterwaves.ByvirtueofthebinaryBellpolynomials,symboliccomputationandauxiliaryindependentvariable,thebilinearforms,solitonsolutions,B¨acklundtransformationsandLaxpairareobtained.Variablecoefficientsoftheequationcanaffectthesolitonicstructure,whentheyarespeciallychosen,whilecurvedandlinearsolitonsareillustrated.Elasticcollisionsbetween/amongtwoandthreesolitonsarediscussed,throughwhichthesolitonskeeptheiroriginalshapesinvariantexceptforsomephaseshifts.
