HistoricaldataregardingZhangHeng'sseismoscopeisnotsingularproof.Actually,thefourearliesthistoricaldocuments,i.e.,ContinuationofHistoriographyofHanDynasty,HistoriographyoftheLaterHan,BookoftheLaterHanandDingRecordallhaverelevantrecordsofitsstructure,size,principle,responsetoearthquakeandactualapplications.Thesefiveaspectsaresupportedbyarchaeologicalresearch,unearthedculturalrelics,historicalearthquakesandmodernseismologicalstudy.Thesehistoricalmaterialscontainagreatdealofspecificinformationaboutthisancientseismoscope.Inconclusion,theauthenticityandreliabilityofZhangHeng'sseismoscopeareverified.
