摘要
ThesolutionfortheDuffingequationinanonlinearvibrationproblemisstudiedinthispaper.Clearly,inthecaseoftheperturbparameterbeingalargervalue,thetraditionalperturbationmethodisnolongervalidbuttheHomotopyPerturbationMethod（HPM）isapplicableusually.HPMisusedtosolvetheweakandstrongnonlineardifferentialequationsforfindingtheperturbedfrequencyoftheresponse.TheobtainedfrequenciesviaHPMandtheapproximatemethodhavegoodaccordanceforweakandstrongnonlineardifferentialequations.Additionally,thecalculatedresponsesbyuseoftheapproximatemethodarecomparedwiththeresponsesobtainedfromtheNumericalmethodinthetimehistoryoftheresponseandphaseplane.Theresultsrepresent~oodaccordancebetweenthem.
