Rheological Behavior of Zero Cement Al2O3-MgO Castables-中国期刊网

摘要 Al2O3-MgOcastableshavebeenwidelyusedforworkingliningsofsteelladleduetotheirsuperiorhotstrengthandcorrosionresistance.Inthiswork,effectsofmicrosilica,ultrafinealuminaandMgOfinesadditionsontherheologicalbehaviorofthecastableswereinvestigatedbymeansofIBBrheometerV1.0tomeasuretorque(shearstress)undervaryingshearrates.Theresultsshowthatrheologicalpropertiesofcastablesatvaryingshearratesaresignificantlyimprovedwithincreaseofmicrosilicaadditions(from1mass%to5mass%)andcorrespondingdecreaseinwateraddition;thereisonlylittlechangeinrheologicalbehaviorwithvariationofultrafinealuminaandMgOfinesadditions.Optimumultrafinealuminaandmicrosilicaadditionsarerecommendedforcastableswithgoodrheologicalbehavior.
