摘要 ConstraintsfromP-Tpseudosections(MnNCKFMASHsystem),foliationintersection/inflectionaxespreservedinporphyroblasts(FIAs),mineralassemblagesandtexturalrelationshipsforrockscontainingallthreeAl2SiO5polymorphsindicateakyanite→andalusite→sillimanitesequentialformationatdifferenttimesratherthanstablecoexistenceattheAl2SiO5triplepoint.AllthreeAl2SiO5polymorphsgrewintheChl,Bt,Ms,Grt,St,PlandCrdbearingOrdovicianClayholeSchistinBalcooma,northeasternAustraliaseparatelyalongaloopedP-T-t-Dpaththatswapsfromclockwisetoanticlockwiseinthetectono-metamorphichistoryoftheregion.KyanitegrewduringcrustalthickeninginanEarlySilurianOrogeniceventfollowedbydecompression/heating,andalusiteandfibroliticsillimanitegrowthduringEarlyDevonianexhumation.
